I love French class. I really do. I've had plenty of time to get art done in that class. Mostly just sketches...I'm working on hands at the moment. But I did this little faerie today. I'm not done with it, but I thought I'd share what I had so far. I need to finish shading and adding more background. Can you believe that? A background! Heh-heh!

About 1 1/2 hours spent on this so far, which is why it's not quite finished yet. I'm also rather happy with the scan job, as the scanner did not murder it. ^_^

I've changed the image, and it has about 7-8 more hours of work on it. In fact, it's finished. Heh-heh! I've added all those flowers in the background, the banner, and make the objects look 3-D and not so flat. I'm really happy that I've done a whole scene. My old art teacher said I needed to do more than figures, and I have. That's satisfying. And I've changed the title to French, because I owe this piece to my French class. If our French teacher actually taught us anything, I would have never had time to start this.
